Our Head Chef,
I’ve been cooking for 17 years and have a great passion for it. As I’m from Plymouth I started my career working in 3, 4 and 5* resorts working in Rosset restaurants where I was trained to use the finest Ingredients and worked alongside some great chefs who helped me through my career. Now At the Dartmouth Hotel situated in a fabulous location, I can continue my journey using the fresh local ingredients we have around here to produce great dishes. I’ll look forward to seeing you soon.
Sourcing the best local suppliers
Ricci ensures that you experience the very best of local food… all our beef is locally sourced from Dunterton Farm in Shaldon, while seafood is purchased from Dartmouth Fishmongers “Moby Nicks” and local fish markets. The Dartmouth Smoke House provide all smoked food to the kitchen, bread is made daily by our own dedicated kitchen team!
In addition, the hotel purchases only fair-trade coffee, tea and sugar, while all fruit and vegetables are purchased from a local wholesaler in Totnes.

Food is served daily in our bistro from 7.30am until 9.30pm.
