Stuart worked at Dartmouth Golf Club for 7 years and it was during this period that he became a PGA Golf Professional. He frequently competed on the West Region PGA circuit and represented Devon on a regular basis with numerous top ten finishes. He remains the current course record holder at Dartmouth.

From Dartmouth Stuart then moved on to Wrangaton Golf Club where he became Head Professional and Director of Golf for nearly 12 years. Stuart has always been passionate about coaching, but his move to Bovey Tracey Golf Club last year really highlighted his commitment to getting the best results for his clients once he began coaching full-time.

Stuart prides himself on a flexible and adaptive coaching style that ensures the best results for his clients, whatever level they are playing at. He focuses on understanding each golfer’s individual needs; their strengths, weaknesses, and ambitions to create a bespoke coaching plan. Stuart is firm in his beliefthat anyone can learn to play golf, regardless of age or athletic background. He is committed to helping clients better understand the mechanics of their swing, course strategy and mental game.
