Hi, I’m Matt,

I am the trainee Professional here at The Dartmouth Hotel, Golf & Spa. My journey in golf began at Wrangaton Golf Club, where I first developed my love for the game, sadly they closed in 2023. I then moved to Stover Golf Club for a year, before finding my home here at Dartmouth, where I joined the pro shop team and made the exciting decision to pursue a career in golf professionally.

Over the past 17 years, I’ve been fortunate to represent both my clubs and my county as an elite amateur, competing at a high level against other top players and counties. A couple of highlights from my amateur career include becoming a two-time club champion — a personal achievement that I am incredibly proud of.

Now, I’m thrilled to be starting my professional journey. I have a real passion for helping others enjoy and improve their golf, and there’s nothing more rewarding to me than seeing players lower their handicaps and shoot better scores.
